What can bar-coding do for me?

HolisTech™ Stores Bar-coding:
The philosophy of stores bar-coding is to enable the stores to become fully automated thus making redundant all paperwork based booking in/out operations. It also helps to stop engineers from removing parts without booking them out.
This removes the task of an administrator having to book parts in & out of the software from the paper system.

HolisTech™ Asset Bar-coding:
With Asset Bar-coding each asset is given a bar-code label. If an engineer reads the bar-code on the machine there is an option to do the following:
- View breakdown history of the asset
- View spare parts used on the asset
- Create a breakdown or work order for the particular asset
- Sign off PPM sheets for the asset
The bar-coding functionality offers extreme flexibility and advanced usability for organisations. It gives engineering and stores functions an advantage by virtue of the fact that everything is done via the bar-coding guns to ensure data integrity.
