Why is this?
A selection of customers just want to use bar-coding in the stores and not to integrate additional HolisTech™ modules.

The philosophy of stores bar-coding is to enable the stores to become fully automated thus making redundant all paper based booking in/out systems.
Utilising the RF option means the user can update the data in real-time without having to "dock" the unit, or use an extensive bar-coded menu to book parts against. The bar-coding guns are programmed to make full use of the LCD display and easy to use keypad.
Bar-coding assists engineers in booking parts in or out, and removes the task of an administrator to enter parts details onto a system, as all the parts information is captured in real-time at the point of use.
In summary RF Bar-coding offers the following functionality in real-time without the need to use a bar-code menu:
- Book parts in/out
- Carry out stock takes
- Real time - automatically amends balance as parts are booked in/out
- Automatic logging of personnel carrying out stock transactions
- Movement history of parts usage
- RF Bar-coding may be used with the Access or SQL Version of HolisTech™
